Build back better through culture and creativity

ON-LINE MEETING

UNESCO Creative Cities have leveraged their cultural and creative assets and potential to respond effectively to the multifaceted impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to ensure an inclusive and sustainable recovery. In this context, UNESCO in cooperation with the city of Santos, a Creative City of Film, will be organizing an online meeting titled ‘UNESCO Creative Cities: Build back better from COVID-19’, on 6 and 7 July from 13:00 to 15:30, Paris time. The meeting will serve as an open platform for Creative Cities to share their good practices and valuable experiences with their fellow cities, as well as contribute to supporting UNESCO’s efforts to hasten its advocacy for culture and creativity empowered responses and recovery measures to the pandemic.
